TOP 5 CASUAL GAMES

I was just reading this next article by Ben Silverman at Yahoo Games about five games for anyone:

Whoever coined the term 'casual gaming' couldn't have been further off the mark -- despite their smaller size and lighter subject matter, many casual games are often just as addictive and time-consuming as their more celebrated 'hardcore' counterparts. A recent study by media research firm Interpret found that casual players spend a healthy five hours a week playing games -- an hour up from last year -- and that they're 22 percent more likely to search for new product info and 36 percent more likely to switch brands just to try new things. You want a growth industry? You're looking at it.

But with such explosive development comes a good amount of confusion, particularly for those discovering a newfound passion for pixels. If you're one of the millions just getting into the game, why not start at the top by checking out five of the biggest casual franchises ever:

The games can viewed and visited through the link! Have Fun!!
