Bombers Did Not Have Down Syndrome

There is a story that has just been posted indicating that the two women used in the homicide bombings in Iraq did not have Down Syndrome, as they had previously indicated.

The U.S. military said Wednesday that two women used as suicide bombers in attacks earlier this month had undergone psychiatric treatment but there is no indication they had Down syndrome as Iraqi and U.S. officials initially had claimed.

Rear Adm. Gregory Smith, a military spokesman, said the women used in the Feb. 1 pet market bombings had been identified as residents from the northeastern outskirts of Baghdad who were in their late 20s or early 30s. The two attacks killed nearly 100 people, and Iraqi and U.S. officials said at the time the women appeared to be unwitting attackers.

So with this news, can we expect that more women will be used as homicide bombers, and this is the beginning of a new wave of violence, after the relative calm, created by the Surge!! In a way, it is too bad, because I know it affected me, and others, that al-Qaeda would be so evil as to use the most innocent among us, and to find that this was not the case is even more troubling, in regard to what is happening in Iraq!! Did their psychiatric problems contribute to their being used as bombers? This should be an area that needs to be investigated, and find out what other factors turned them into "homicide" bombers!!

Iraq Orders Police To Round Up Beggars

There is a story coming out of Iraq in which the Iraqi Interior Ministry has ordered police to round up beggars, vagabonds and mentally disabled people from the streets of Baghdad to prevent them from being used by insurgents as suicide bombers, a spokesman said Tuesday.

The decision came after a series of suicide attacks, including two female bombers who struck pet markets in Baghdad on Feb. 1, killing nearly 100 people. Iraqi and U.S. officials have said the women were mentally disabled and apparently unwitting bombers. The people detained in the Baghdad sweep will be handed over to governmental institutions that can provide shelter and care for them, Interior Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Abdul-Karim Khalaf said.

From the title I thought that it was just the Iraqi government trying to change its' image, and hide their problems from the eyes of the world; but if al-Qaeda is going to use "innocents" to carry out their evil, it makes sense to put those "innocents", in safer locations, than where they are currently, and make it harder for al-Qaeda to use them!

al-Qaeda COWARDS Use Mentally Handicapped As HOMICIDE Bombers

In what is a troubling new trend, but easily expected from a pack of cowards, from Osama "babyface" bin-Laden, to the other commanders of al-Qaeda, who lead, by "hiding" under rocks, and in caves, they are now using mentally handicapped people as "bombs"!!

In a fierce response to yesterdays bombings, Iraq's prime minister vowed on Saturday that attacks by two female bombers which killed 99 people in Baghdad would not derail improved security, but angry residents demanded the government do more to protect them.


Nuri al-Maliki said Friday's nearly simultaneous bombings at two crowded pet markets, the deadliest attacks in the city since April, would not herald a return to the savage violence that took Iraq to the brink of sectarian civil war.

The U.S. military said there were indications the women were mentally handicapped, and probably unaware they were being used as human bombs. It blamed Sunni Islamist al Qaeda for the attacks.

Whether you are a muslim or not, don't you really have to look hard at a religion that uses Allah's "special" people to kill innocents, while your leadership hides, and lets everyone else, but them do Allah's "work"!!
Any muslim that does not denounce this cowardly behavior, should spend time in Hell as well, as the Evil Cowards themselves!!!
