In a story unfolding Sunday, we are seeing a somewhat democratic government surviving an election, that will decide how much radical Islamist's will influence a "friendly" government, at a time when we need as many friend's as we can get.

Turkey's Islamic-rooted ruling party was headed for victory Sunday with more than half the votes counted in parliamentary elections that pitted the government against opponents warning of a threat to secular traditions.

Congratulations to the Turkish people, for voting against the forces of evil, that are trying to take control of the governments in the Middle East.

I do hope that Turkey will find someway to get more autonomy to the long suffering Kurds, who richly deserve their own homeland!
