PC Madness Hits Hannah Montana

I saw this tidbit of a story, and am only posting it because it is so ridiculous that I figured everyone would get a laugh, and then get back to work.

The story begins with:
Buckle up, Hannah Montana!
In a blog item posted Monday, Consumer Reports magazine says 15-year-old superstar Miley Cyrus, who plays Hannah Montana on television, is seen in her new movie riding without a seat belt in the back seat of a Range Rover.
So is her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, the Yonkers-based magazine says.

I thought that this was so stupid, and it is not like she is driving around, unbuckeled, with a heroin needle in her arm. In addition, I am pretty sure that parents can have some impact on whether or not their children buckle up. Seriously, it would be nice to think that "movie stars" can live perfect lives, and their adoring fans will live perfect lives, but "people" it is a movie, and she is a "character" in the movie. Get Over It, and take a little personal responsibility for what happens in your lives. To use Hannah/Miley as your only role model, in determining whether or not you will wear a seat belt, would be like having James Bond, as your role model for relationships, and driving instruction, or Heath Ledger, on how to take prescription medications!!

One more aside: I remember when I heard that the Marlboro Man had died of lung cancer, and that their were people who actually were happy that he died that way, and I thought how sad it must be, to try and be right by rejoicing in another persons demise, just because it is what you are fighting against. We should remember that no matter how pure your life is--you are STILL going to DIE--it is only a matter of time--that is the only TRUTH of being a Human Being--Mortality is our lot--as they say Certainty is Death & Taxes!!

Political Correctness is Killing this Country, let's all do our part to stamp PCness OUT!! Thanks, Have a Good Laugh, and Back To Work!! :)
