A Very Special Persons Poems

This post is a personal post of mine, and is some of the writings of my young lady, Melissa. Melissa is an avid reader and writer. She has a particular interest in serial killers, and those kind of non-ficton and fiction books, and movies. She had been working on a detective/serial killer book for quite some time now, and last night she said she was going to take a little break and write some poetry, light and dark, to clean out her mind and get ready to get back and finish the book.

So it is my pleasure to reveal her first two poems, as she explores a different side of her mind. I hope you like this small escape:

Into The Midnight Blues

And then you feel the breeze of life, and
what you really are,
and how if fate were different, you
could've been a star.

You ponder on your youth, as
if you could've changed,
all the wasted time you spent,
planning to rearrange.

All the mistakes you were about to make,
and those you actually did,
as if you truly had a choice, when
you were only just a kid.

And so you do accept the fact, that
in your downhill years,
somehow your dreams and life escaped you,
as you mourn and shed some tears.

The second one is a bit of a lash out with some humor, over a incident with a former 26 year old, employee, friend, and model, named Lacey, and a misunderstanding of monstrous proportions, and was dredge up again after a visit by said person....I was in trouble--deep!!small nervous laughter!!
Anyway here is the slam on me, and I told her I would post it as well, even though it is totally undeserved (that's my Truth and I'm sticking to it) !! ;) :)

You know that All you can ever do,
is oggle all those Blondes,
and the closest you'll ever come to one,
is being some ones john.

You try so hard, to pretend, that
you're really all of That,
The truth be told unfortunately,
your just a door-floor mat.

Although you can be charming,
and chivalrous as can be,
Deep down you're just a lonely man,
wishing to be free.

Well that's it. Thank you for letting me indulge this special person, as we approach Valentine's Day, and all that it means to people:
looking for love, finding love, and keeping love alive!!
